20 hours after a 28-year old murder suspect escaped a psychiatric ward in Aalborg, police are still without leads.
Wednesday afternoon, the 28-year old man, who has been charged with the killing of a female case worker near the Holstebro Jobcenter, fled to freedom through an unlocked window.
Cold trail
Since then, it has been "as though the ground had swallowed him up", in the words of the duty officer at the North Jutland Police, who spoke with DR News on Wednesday night.
- We have to admit that the trail is getting cold. We'll have to hope for help from the general public, the duty officer adds.
The North Jutland police have been searching for the 28-year old man at several locations in the police district, but have not uncovered any leads.
